MADE FOR CURIOSITY

A little more nuance.
A clearer picture of you.

My Political Values is an independent political values test from the maker of The Socionics Test and Religious Values.

Why twelve dimensions?

A single political label carries a lot of assumptions. We wanted a way to separate some of them: what you think about economic inequality, how you balance liberty and enforcement, where you think decisions belong, and how you approach social change.

Twelve is a design choice. It gives these subjects room without requiring hundreds of questions. It is not a claim that politics has exactly twelve natural dimensions.

What we built

The project includes 96 original statements, a 48-question quick version, twelve result scales, readable explanations, and a published scoring method. All twelve scores, basic explanations, sharing, and browser printing are free. An optional $6.99 personal report adds cross-axis interpretations, answer patterns, philosophy comparisons, and a reflection workbook. No account is required.

The site’s political explainers distinguish definitions, examples, and the test’s own design decisions. Comparisons link to the other projects’ official descriptions. We do not claim scientific validation, verified accuracy, or endorsement by a research institution.

Independence and naming

This site is not affiliated with a political party and does not recommend candidates. It is also separate from The Political Compass, 8values, 9Axes, and other projects using the 12Axes name, including PoliticalTests’ 12Axes.

Similar names or labels do not mean identical questions or interchangeable scores. Read how the test formats differ.

Read the method before trusting the chart

Charts make summaries feel precise. Our percentages come from simple arithmetic over a limited set of answers. The methodology page explains that arithmetic, the handling of missing answers, and what has not been validated.

Start with the explanations that fit your answers, inspect the ones that do not, and leave room for your views to change.
